Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and growth-driven Business Development Intern to join the Founder’s Office at Somvanshi Technologies. This position offers direct exposure to business operations, client acquisition strategies, sales processes, and organizational growth initiatives.
The selected candidate will work closely with leadership on strategic business development activities, client relationship management, market expansion initiatives, and operational coordination. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain practical corporate exposure within a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and generate potential business leads through LinkedIn, email outreach, networking platforms, and market research
- Support the sales pipeline by qualifying prospects and maintaining lead databases
- Assist in developing outreach strategies for client acquisition and partnership opportunities
Client Communication & Coordination
- Engage with prospective clients through professional communication channels
- Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and requirement discussions with internal teams and clients
- Assist in maintaining long-term professional relationships with stakeholders
Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct competitor analysis and industry research to identify market trends and business opportunities
- Prepare reports and insights to support strategic decision-making processes
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain CRM systems, sales records, and outreach documentation
- Assist in creating presentations, proposals, pitch decks, and business reports
- Ensure timely updates and organized record management for ongoing projects
Strategic & Operational Support
- Work closely with the Founder’s Office on ongoing strategic initiatives
- Support operational coordination between departments when required
- Contribute to improving internal processes and business workflows
Eligibility Criteria
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Commerce, or related fields
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional attitude with strong interpersonal abilities
- Basic understanding of sales, business development, and client management
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and CRM tools is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
