Associate Product Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate Associate Product Manager to support the development of an ERP platform tailored for educational institutions (schools, colleges, universities). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, user-friendly solutions that streamline academic and administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in defining product vision, roadmap, and feature prioritization for the education ERP system
- Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders including academic staff, administrators, and students
- Translate business requirements into clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality product features
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily scrum meetings
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify product improvements
- Track product performance metrics and gather user feedback for continuous improvement
- Support product launches, including documentation, training materials, and user onboarding
- Ensure compliance with education standards and data privacy regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in product management / business analysis / ERP domain
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Ability to write clear user stories and functional specifications
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, and system architecture
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working on ERP systems or EdTech products
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar
- Understanding of academic workflows and institutional operations
- Exposure to data analytics tools or SQL
Job Location: Chennai .The ability to work remotely and willingness to travel domestically will be appreciated. In the future, there could be an opportunity for International travel to serve key customers.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
