About the Role
PRISH Consultancy is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging visual content. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in editing videos for social media platforms, corporate branding, marketing campaigns, and digital content. The candidate must be proficient in industry-standard editing software and possess a strong understanding of storytelling, motion graphics, and visual aesthetics.
Key ResponsibilitiesVideo Editing & Production
- Edit high-quality videos for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other digital channels.
- Create engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, advertisements, and corporate videos.
- Assemble raw footage, graphics, sound, and effects into polished final videos.
- Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
Motion Graphics & Visual Effects
- Design and incorporate motion graphics, transitions, animations, titles, and visual effects.
- Create engaging intros, outros, lower thirds, and animated elements.
- Enhance videos through creative visual storytelling techniques.
Audio & Color Enhancement
- Perform audio synchronization, noise reduction, and sound balancing.
- Apply color correction and color grading to improve visual quality.
- Ensure final output meets professional standards.
Content Optimization
- Optimize videos for different platforms and aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, etc.).
- Stay updated with current social media trends and editing styles.
- Recommend creative ideas to improve audience engagement and content performance.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Marketing, Branding, and Content teams.
- Understand project briefs and deliver content within specified timelines.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently.
Mandatory Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects
- Experience with CapCut Desktop
- Video Editing and Post-Production
- Motion Graphics and Animation
- Color Correction and Color Grading
- Audio Editing and Synchronization
- Social Media Content Editing (Reels, Shorts, YouTube Videos)
- Understanding of various video formats, codecs, and export settings
- Creative storytelling and visual composition skills
- Time management and ability to work under deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Basic Graphic Designing
- AI Video Editing Tools (Runway, Descript, Adobe Firefly, etc.)
- Photography and Videography understanding
- Experience in Corporate Branding and Digital Marketing content
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Multimedia, Animation, Mass Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in video editing.
- Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating editing skills.
