Position Overview
SGIS is seeking a dynamic, experienced IBDP Mathematics Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction across both Analysis and Approaches (AA) and Applications and Interpretation (AI) at SL and HL. The ideal candidate will inspire a deep appreciation for mathematics through inquiry-based learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, student-centric IBDP Mathematics lessons.
- Guide and mentor students through their Internal Assessments (IAs) and Extended Essays (EEs).
- Integrate technology effectively, including Graphic Display Calculators (GDC).
- Collaborate with the IBDP Coordinator and department faculty on curriculum mapping.
- Contribute to campus life through co-curricular activities, pastoral care, and CAS support.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Statistics. A B.Ed. or teaching certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years of direct experience teaching IBDP Mathematics (SL/HL).
- Skills: Strong communication skills, deep understanding of IB criteria, and official IB workshop training (preferred).
