Business Function
Lead the Finance function for the DBS Tech Centre, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and efficient cash flow management. This role manages a team of 11-12, overseeing all aspects of the entity's financial operations.
Key responsibilities:
Include managing HO reporting, Audits – Statutory, Tax & Transfer pricing, Month close activities, Receivables & Treasury operations management, Payables - vendor & employee, Finance planning & budgeting, Presenting financials in Board & Management meetings, Taxation, etc.
Key Accountabilities
Provide financial leadership, ensuring adherence to budgets, statutory/regulatory compliance, and effective cash flow management.
Oversee all financial reporting to headquarters (HO), monthly closing processes, and statutory audits.
Manage the entity's budgeting, forecasting, and management information systems (MIS).
Build and develop a scalable finance organization to support future growth.
Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing with regional (SGP) and India finance teams.
Job Duties & responsibilities
Financial Reporting Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate HO reporting, manage internal and external audits, and maintain compliance with all tax regulations and reporting requirements. Experience with transfer pricing and APA is highly desirable.
Financial Operations: Oversee transaction processing teams (accounts payable, vendor payments, employee payments), treasury operations, and receivables management. Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Financial Planning Analysis: Develop and manage the entity's budget and forecasts. Analyze financial data to provide insights to support business decision-making. Work with LOBT and COO functions to review financials and drive positive business outcomes.
Team Management Collaboration: Manage and mentor a team of 11-12 finance professionals. Build and maintain strong relationships with regional and India finance teams.
Cost Optimization: Review the cost structure of the lines of business and support functions to identify opportunities for cost optimization at the entity level
Required Experience
- 18-25 years of experience in finance and accounting.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (CMA).
- Experience with SEZ/STPI entities is preferred.
- Proven ability in people management and stakeholder management across different geographical locations and functions.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to receive and act upon feedback.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, PowerPoint, and accounting ERP systems.
Education / Preferred Qualifications
- Preferably MBA (Finance and/or Accounting)
- Professional Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (CMA)
