Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented New Business Development Manager to drive business growth in Third-Party and Contract Manufacturing (CMO/CDMO) operations. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, acquiring clients, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding the company's contract manufacturing portfolio in domestic and international markets.
Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business Acquisition
- Identify and onboard new customers for Third-Party and Contract Manufacturing services.
- Generate leads through market research, networking, industry events, and referrals.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Build a strong sales pipeline and convert opportunities into long-term business relationships.
Contract Manufacturing Business Development
- Promote the company's manufacturing capabilities across Tablets, Capsules, Liquids, Ointments, Injectables, and other dosage forms.
- Engage with pharmaceutical companies, marketers, exporters, and institutional clients.
- Understand customer requirements and propose customized manufacturing solutions.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and business negotiations.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Commercial & Contract Management
- Prepare business proposals, quotations, and commercial agreements.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service agreements.
- Monitor project profitability and revenue growth.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Supply Chain, and Purchase teams for successful project execution.
- Ensure smooth technology transfer and product commercialization activities.
- Track project timelines and customer commitments.
Market Intelligence & Expansion
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Identify opportunities in domestic, export, and regulated markets.
- Participate in pharma exhibitions, conferences, and industry networking events.

Educational Qualification
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc
- MBA (Marketing/Business Development) preferred
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 8–12 years of experience in Pharma Business Development, Third-Party Manufacturing, or Contract Manufacturing.
- Proven track record of acquiring new clients and achieving business targets.
- Strong network within pharmaceutical companies, marketers, and contract manufacturing organizations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Exposure to domestic and international pharmaceutical markets will be preferred.
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
