Assist in the installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of medical equipment.
* Support preventive and corrective maintenance of biomedical devices.
* Help troubleshoot minor equipment faults under the supervision of senior engineers.
* Maintain service reports, maintenance logs, calibration records, and equipment documentation.
* Coordinate with clinical departments regarding equipment breakdowns and service requests.
* Assist in inventory management and asset tagging of medical equipment.
* Ensure biomedical equipment complies with safety standards and hospital policies.
* Support calibration, quality checks, and functional testing of medical devices.
* Liaise with vendors during equipment servicing and Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC)/Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (CMC) activities.
* Participate in user training on the safe operation and basic maintenance of medical equipment.
* Follow infection control, electrical safety, and hospital quality protocols.
* Perform any other duties assigned by the Biomedical Engineering Department.
