Job Description: Food Technologist – QA & QC Executive
Company: Nutrizo Advancis Healthcare Private Limited
Location: GIDC Estate, Dholka, Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Department: Quality Assurance, Quality Control & Production
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Purpose:
The Food Technologist (QA/QC) will be solely responsible for maintaining the safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and consistency of all product lines (including Stevia sweeteners, protein powders, and herbal extracts). The role spans across raw material testing, online production monitoring, final product release, and managing standard documentation as per national and international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Control (Lab Testing & Inspections)
Incoming Material Analysis: Inspect and approve raw botanical extracts, herbs, packaging materials, and active ingredients entering the Dholka facility.
In-Process & Finished Product Testing: Conduct routine physical and chemical testing of batches—specifically monitoring parameters like sweetness profile, moisture content, particle size, solubility, and pH level.
Shelf-Life & Stability Testing: Monitor and log product stability over time to ensure anti-caking properties in powder formats and chemical stability in liquid drops/tablets.
Laboratory Management: Maintain, calibrate, and clean laboratory equipment regularly to ensure accurate test readings.
2. Quality Assurance (Systems, Audits & Compliance)
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all manufacturing processes strictly align with FSSAI, and all other standards.
Certification Readiness: Maintain audit-ready documentation for specialized certifications.
SOP and Documentation Management: Draft, update, and strictly enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on the production floor. Maintain accurate Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) for full market traceability.
Hygiene Protocols: Oversee daily plant sanitation, clean-in-place (CIP) processes, and personal hygiene standards for the factory workers.
3. Core Food Technology & Process Optimization
Product Consistency: Troubleshoot processing variances to ensure that different production runs yield the exact same sweetness intensity, color, and texture.
Packaging Quality Control: Verify sealing integrity of sachets, jars, and zip pouches to prevent moisture ingress, which can spoil or cake the natural powders.
Customer Grievance Resolution: Investigate any quality-related feedback or complaints from consumers or bulk industry partners, performing root-cause analysis to implement corrective actions.
Job Requirements & Specifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (B.Tech / B.Sc / M.Sc) in Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, or Pharmaceutical/Herbal Sciences.

Technical Skills: Deep understanding of food preservation, moisture tracking, blending homogeneity, and analytical lab testing methods.
