TechOps Engineer I

About the Role
As a Tech Ops Engineer I, you will own first-level monitoring, triage, and resolution for
Platform operations. You will investigate transaction failures, coordinate with vendors
and banks, support business teams with queries, and execute operational tasks safely
within defined SOPs and SLAs.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy problem-solving in production environments,
can navigate logs and data confidently, and are motivated to improve operational
efficiency through scripting and automation.
What We Expect From You

Monitor system health dashboards and respond to alerts promptly to maintain platform availability.

Act as first responder for low-to-medium severity incidents and perform initial triage.

Investigate issues using logs, data queries, and API-level debugging.

Execute operational workflows (bulk actions, event replays, data corrections) using approved runbooks.

Escalate high-severity issues with clear diagnostics and context.

Partner with engineering and business teams to improve incident response and

Contribute to SOPs, runbooks, and lightweight automation scripts.
Must Haves
-
1-2 years of experience in backend engineering, production support, or tech operations.

Strong fundamentals in SQL, APIs, and log-based debugging.

Working knowledge of observability tools (Grafana/Kibana/Loki or equivalent).

Basic scripting skills in Python or Bash for task automation.

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Ownership mindset and comfort working in on-call or incident-driven environments.
