Job Title: Accounts Executive (School)
Location: Malad, Mumbai
Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Weekly Off: 2nd & 4th Saturday and all Sundays
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to join our school administration team. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in GST, TDS, gratuity processing, and advanced Excel skills. Prior experience in an educational institution will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Maintain accurate records of receipts, payments, invoices, and vouchers.
- Prepare and process GST returns and ensure compliance with GST regulations.
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return filings.
- Manage employee gratuity calculations and related statutory compliances.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and statutory authorities.
- Maintain payroll-related accounting entries and records.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.
- Support fee collection reconciliation and other school finance-related activities.
- Utilize Advanced Excel for data analysis, reporting, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, dashboards, and financial tracking.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in Accounts and Finance.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, gratuity, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Office.
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, MIS Reporting, Data Analysis).
- Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience working in a school, college, or educational institution preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Professional, organized, and proactive approach to work.
Compensation
- Salary: As per industry standards and candidate experience.

Pay: ₹15,522.43 - ₹30,727.90 per month
