Site engineer required with a civil engineering degree to manage construction on site.
Roles & Responsibilities
Construction Supervision
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities.
- Ensure work is executed according to structural drawings, architectural drawings, and approved specifications.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure high-quality finishes.
Quality Control
- Inspect shuttering, reinforcement, masonry, plaster, waterproofing, flooring, and finishing work.
- Verify dimensions, levels, plumb, and alignment before and after execution.
- Identify defects and ensure rectification.
Contractor Management
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labour teams.
- Ensure manpower is sufficient for scheduled work.
- Monitor contractor productivity and performance.
Material Management
- Verify incoming material quality and quantities.
- Maintain inventory of cement, steel, bricks, sand, electrical, plumbing, and finishing materials.
- Prevent wastage and theft.
Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare weekly work schedules.
- Track project progress against milestones.
- Report delays and recommend corrective actions.
Coordination
- Coordinate with:
- Architect
- Structural consultant
- Interior designer
- MEP consultants
- HVAC contractors
- Elevator contractor
- Window and façade suppliers
Measurements & Billing
- Record measurements of completed work.
- Verify contractor bills before payment.
- Maintain daily progress reports.
Documentation
- Maintain:
- Daily site diary
- Labour attendance
- Material consumption records
- Inspection reports
- Photo documentation
Safety
- Ensure workers use appropriate PPE.
- Maintain a safe and clean construction site.
- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering
- 3–8 years of residential construction experience
- Experience with luxury villas or independent houses preferred
- Ability to read structural and architectural drawings
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Excel
- Good communication and contractor management skills
Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
