We are looking for a responsible and vigilant Safety Officer / Safety Supervisor to ensure workplace and site safety and promote a strong safety culture among employees and labourers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all team members and labourers wear and properly use the required PPE and safety equipment.
- Monitor and maintain safety standards at the workplace/site.
- Identify and report unsafe electrical conditions, including exposed or damaged electrical wires.
- Ensure employees follow company policies regarding alcohol, drugs, tobacco, and workplace safety.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Ensure all workers are aware of and follow basic safety rules and procedures.
- Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks to promote safety awareness.
- Report safety violations, incidents, and unsafe practices to management.
- Ensure corrective actions are taken to prevent safety risks.
- Maintain basic safety records, inspection reports, and related documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer, Safety Supervisor, or in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of workplace and site safety practices.
- Strong communication, monitoring, and team management skills.
- Ability to identify hazards and strictly enforce safety rules.
- Must be able to communicate in Hindi, English, and Gujarati.
- Ability to effectively manage workers and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
