About the Role
Fintaco Global is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join its Audit & Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing audit engagements, ensuring regulatory compliance, evaluating internal controls, and delivering high-quality assurance services to clients across industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute statutory audit, internal audit, and assurance engagements.
- Review financial statements and ensure compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards.
- Assess internal financial controls and identify areas for process improvement.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop audit plans based on business and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare audit reports, management letters, and compliance documentation.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to gather information and resolve audit-related matters.
- Ensure timely completion of assignments while maintaining quality standards.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, auditing standards, taxation, and corporate laws.
- Guide and mentor junior team members during audit engagements.
- Support clients on compliance and financial reporting matters.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in Audit & Assurance.
- Strong experience in statutory audits, internal audits, and financial reporting reviews.
- Prior experience in a CA firm, consulting firm, or professional services environment preferred.
- Candidates with prior experience at a Big 4 firm will be preferred; however, applications from professionals with relevant experience from other firms are equally welcome.
Skills Required
- Strong understanding of Standards on Auditing (SA), Accounting Standards (AS/Ind AS), and regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of Companies Act, corporate governance, and financial controls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and client management abilities.
- High attention to detail and professional ethics.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and audit documentation tools.
