Job Summary:
The Area Sales Officer (Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu) is responsible for driving sales and business growth within a designated geographic area. This role involves managing relationships with distributors, retailers, and customers, achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and ensuring effective execution of sales strategies.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned area.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and work to expand market reach.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and manage credit limits for clients.
- Conduct regular market visits to ensure product availability, visibility, and proper merchandising.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to the management.
- Coordinate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Implement promotional activities and monitor their effectiveness in the market.
