Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant Manager to oversee financial operations, accounting processes, budgeting, compliance, and financial reporting within the hospitality and travel industry. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, sound accounting knowledge, and experience managing finance teams while ensuring accurate financial records and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow plans.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and assessments.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, and financial controls across hospitality and travel operations.
- Oversee payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
- Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting team to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Support management with financial planning, business analysis, and strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance preferred.
- 5–10 years of accounting and finance experience, preferably in the hospitality, travel, tourism, hotel, or related sectors.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, financial reporting, and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, , or similar accounting software.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial analysis tools.
