Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance for production machinery and equipment.
- Attend machine breakdowns promptly and ensure minimum production downtime.
- Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems of machines.
- Conduct routine inspection of motors, gearboxes, compressors, panels, and utilities.
- Troubleshoot machine faults and identify root causes of failures.
- Ensure proper functioning of CNC machines, assembly equipment, and material handling systems.
- Maintain and update maintenance records, checklists, and machine history reports.
- Coordinate with production teams for planned maintenance activities.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and safety.
- Ensure availability of spare parts, tools, and consumables required for maintenance.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules as per company standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, electrical safety, and lockout/tagout practices.
- Support installation, commissioning, and shifting of new machines and equipment.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in maintenance and production areas.
- Assist in reducing maintenance costs and improving machine reliability.
- Work closely with vendors and service providers for machine servicing and AMC activities.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of utility equipment such as air compressors, DG sets, and pumps.
- Support continuous improvement and TPM activities in the plant.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Basic understanding of PLC, sensors, drives, and control panels.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Awareness of industrial safety practices.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, EEE, or Mechatronics.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in manufacturing industry maintenance activities.
- Experience in wind component or engineering manufacturing industry preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
