A Civil Site Engineer oversees construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring that structures are built safely, efficiently, and according to design specifications. They work directly on-site, coordinating with contractors, architects, and project managers to manage daily operations and resolve technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution: Supervise and manage construction activities to ensure compliance with design, safety standards, and timelines
Site Coordination: Liaise with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery
Quality Control: Monitor construction quality and ensure materials and workmanship meet required standards
Technical Support: Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide construction teams
Problem Solving: Address on-site issues promptly and implement corrective actions
Documentation: Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and site records
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma Civil
- Professional certification or license (preferred)
- 2–5 years of experience in site engineering or construction management
