We are looking for a seasoned SAP ABAP Developer with deep expertise in SAP logistics modules and strong technical acumen to support and enhance SAP applications specific to supply chain and transportation processes. The role demands proficiency in ABAP development along with experience implementing solutions in EWM and TM modules. Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom SAP ABAP solutions that support logistics functions such as warehousing, transport, shipping, and inventory.
- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to translate operational needs into scalable SAP solutions.
- Create and enhance ALV reports, module pool programs, interfaces, enhancements (User Exits/BADIs), and SmartForms.
- Integrate SAP with third-party logistics systems using IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs.
- Conduct performance tuning and ensure high reliability of transport and warehouse automation processes.
- Provide technical leadership during SAP rollouts and migration to S/4HANA in logistics environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Experience integrating SAP with supply chain and transportation systems.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP Objects, enhancement techniques, and SAP data dictionary.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, OData services.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues across logistics flows (e.g., shipment delays, inventory mismatches).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
