Role: Senior Administrative & Institutional Lead
Reporting To: Director, BTRA
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the comprehensive administration and strategic functioning of the Institute. This role requires a versatile leader capable of balancing institutional governance, human resources, financial oversight, legal compliance, and operational management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Institutional Administration & Operations
- Direct the overall administration to ensure the Institute’s operational efficiency.
- Manage institutional infrastructure, including facilities, security, and general administrative services.
- Support institutional governance by contributing to policy formulation, risk management, and strategic initiatives.
2. Human Resource Management
- Lead HR functions, including policy implementation, performance management, and organizational development.
- Champion employee welfare initiatives and ensure full statutory compliance.
3. Financial, Procurement & Project Oversight
- Collaborate with the finance and accounts departments for budgeting, auditing, and financial monitoring.
- Monitor project implementation, ensuring optimal utilization of funds and strict adherence to regulatory compliance requirements.
- Oversee end-to-end procurement processes, including tendering, vendor management, and contract administration.
4. Legal, IPR & Commercial Affairs
- Manage the full spectrum of legal matters, including litigation, arbitration, labour law, adherence to new labour code and statutory compliance; serve as the primary point of contact for legal counsel and regulatory bodies.
- Draft, review, and vet institutional agreements, contracts, MoUs, and intellectual property (IP) documentation to protect the Institute's interests.
- Manage Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), patent filings, technology transfer, and commercialization activities.
5. External Liaison
- Act as a key liaison with government departments, funding agencies, industry bodies, and other external stakeholders.
- Develop PR with the Textile Ministry and keep updated of any changes, new development to protect the interest of Institution.
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from a recognized institution (preferably in Engineering, Science, or Law).
Desirable Qualifications
- Additional certifications or advanced degrees in Management, Human Resource Management, Law, IPR, Procurement, Contract Management, or Project Management are highly advantageous.
Experience
- 10–15 years of relevant professional experience in roles encompassing administration, human resource management, legal affairs, procurement, project management, or institutional governance.
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
