- OR Candidates with proven experience as a Logistics & Supply Chain Management Faculty.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Faculty for the Logistics & Supply Chain Management programme to teach Business Environment for Logistics & Supply Chain Management and Technology of Business (5th & 6th Semester). The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of logistics, business operations, supply chain processes, and emerging business technologies while fostering an engaging and practical learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom lectures aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, lecture notes, presentations, assignments, and study materials.
- Teach concepts related to:
- Business Environment and Economic Policies
- Business Ethics and Corporate Governance
- Global Business Environment
- Logistics and Supply Chain Fundamentals
- Digital Business Technologies
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- E-Commerce and Digital Transformation
- Information Systems in Business
- Business Analytics and Decision Support Systems
- Emerging Technologies in Logistics (AI, IoT, Blockchain, Automation)
- Conduct seminars, tutorials, practical sessions, and case study discussions.
- Evaluate students through assignments, quizzes, internal examinations, projects, presentations, and semester assessments.
- Guide students in academic projects, internships, and industry-based learning.
- Mentor students for academic excellence and career development.
- Maintain attendance records, assessment reports, and other academic documentation.
- Participate in curriculum development and continuous academic improvement initiatives.
- Organize industrial visits, guest lectures, workshops, and logistics-related seminars.
- Assist in accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional documentation.
- Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the Management.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of Logistics and Supply Chain Management concepts.
- Understanding of business environment and business technology applications.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, digital business platforms, and supply chain technologies.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to simplify technical concepts using practical industry examples.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good organizational, documentation, and mentoring skills.
Preferred Attributes
- Prior teaching experience in Logistics & Supply Chain Management.
- Industry experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, procurement, or supply chain operations will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Passion for student mentoring and academic excellence.
- Ability to integrate real-world logistics case studies and current industry trends into classroom teaching.

Role Objective
The Faculty – Logistics & Supply Chain Management will play a pivotal role in equipping students with the knowledge, analytical skills, and practical exposure required to excel in the logistics and supply chain industry. The faculty member is expected to foster an innovative learning environment while ensuring academic excellence and industry relevance through effective teaching and student mentoring.
