Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive / Sr. Sales Executive to
promote and sell medical equipment and healthcare products across assigned territories. The
candidate will be responsible for developing strong customer relationships with hospitals,
clinics, doctors, pharmacists, rehabilitation centers, and healthcare institutions while
achieving sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Travel extensively within assigned territories to promote and sell medical equipment
and healthcare products.
Identify and establish new business opportunities with hospitals, clinics, diagnostic
centers, nursing homes, and healthcare professionals.
Generate leads through cold calling, field visits, networking, and door-to-door
activities.
Arrange appointments with doctors, pharmacists, hospital purchase departments, and
medical teams.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare professionals and
institutional clients.
Product Promotion & Demonstration
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for doctors, nurses, pharmacists,
and medical staff.
Provide application support, product installation coordination, and user training where
required.
Explain product features, benefits, clinical applications, and competitive advantages
effectively.
Stay updated with latest clinical data, product developments, and industry trends.
Customer Relationship Management
Coordinate with service, support, finance, marketing, and customer service teams to
resolve client issues effectively.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-ups.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and after-sales support.
Estimate delivery timelines and coordinate order processing and receipt disbursement.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, market trends, and product movements.
Gather and share field intelligence to support business strategy and product
development.
Provide information regarding bid situations, pricing trends, and contract
opportunities.
Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and territory plans.
Administrative & Operational Responsibilities
Plan weekly and monthly work schedules efficiently.
Attend company meetings, product trainings, conferences, and technical briefings
regularly.
Organize and participate in conferences, CMEs, and promotional activities for
healthcare professionals.
Maintain compliance with company policies and healthcare industry regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or
related field.
1–3 years of experience in medical equipment/device/pharmaceutical sales.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build relationships with healthcare professionals and institutional
customers.
Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
Good understanding of medical terminology and healthcare industry practices.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused approach.
