Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated QA/QC Engineer (Civil) to ensure that all construction activities are executed in compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable IS Codes. The ideal candidate should have strong site quality experience and excellent documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement QA/QC procedures at project sites.
- Inspect RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, waterproofing, plastering, flooring, and finishing works.
- Ensure work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct and monitor material inspections and site quality tests.
- Review and maintain quality documentation, including Inspection Requests (IR), Inspection Test Plans (ITP), checklists, and test reports.
- Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Consultants, Clients, and Testing Laboratories on quality-related matters.
- Support internal quality audits and project quality compliance.
- Maintain accurate records for project handover and quality assurance.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 3–8 years of QA/QC experience in building construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of RCC, finishing works, material testing, and IS Codes.
- Experience in quality documentation and inspection processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
