Job Title: Sanskrit Teacher (Grades 3–8) Role Overview
The Sanskrit Teacher will be responsible for teaching Sanskrit to students of Grades 3 to 8, fostering language proficiency, grammar, reading, writing, and speaking skills while creating an engaging and positive learning environment in alignment with the curriculum followed by Central Board of Secondary Education affiliated schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Sanskrit lessons for Grades 3–8.
- Teach Sanskrit grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, pronunciation, and spoken Sanskrit.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active student participation.
- Maintain academic records and communicate student progress with parents during PTMs.
- Use interactive and activity-based teaching methods to make learning engaging.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with Sanskrit as a subject from a recognized university.
- B.Ed – Mandatory.
- Master's Degree in Sanskrit – Preferred.
- CTET (Paper II) – Preferred (as per school requirement).
Experience
- Min 2 Years Teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE/recognized school preferred.
Skills
- Strong command of Sanskrit language and grammar.
- Good classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to engage students through interactive teaching methods.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and digital teaching tools.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
