*Job Summary:*
Adithya Global School is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Special Educator to support students with diverse learning needs. The Special Educator will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school leadership to create inclusive learning environments and ensure every child reaches their full potential.
*Key Responsibilities:*
1. Identify students with special educational needs through observation, assessment, and referrals.
2. Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and specialists.
3. Provide individualized and small-group instruction tailored to students’ learning abilities.
4. Adapt curriculum, teaching strategies, and assessment methods to meet diverse learning needs.
5. Support classroom teachers with inclusive teaching strategies and classroom accommodations.
6. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
7. Work closely with parents/guardians, counsellors, and external therapists when required.
8. Conduct awareness sessions and workshops for teachers and parents on special education needs.
9. Ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment aligned with the school’s values.
*Qualifications & Requirements:*
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education (B.Ed / M.Ed – Special Education).
2. Certification recognized by relevant educational authorities (RCI preferred, if applicable).
3. Minimum 1–3 years of experience working with children with special needs (freshers may apply, if trained).
4. Strong understanding of learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, and inclusive education practices.
5. Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
6. Patience, empathy, and a child-centered approach to education.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
