JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely maintenance of books of accounts. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of GST, TDS, reconciliations and general accounting, along with experience in real estate/construction-related accounting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Handle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain books of accounts. Prepare and file GST returns including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B. Perform GSTR-2B reconciliation and resolve discrepancies. Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments and returns. Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation. Verify purchase invoices, sales invoices, bills and supporting documents. Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable. Handle accounting transactions related to real estate/construction projects. Verify contractor bills, project expenses, customer receipts and advances. Assist in preparation of MIS reports, Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets and outstanding reports. Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors and internal departments. Ensure compliance with applicable statutory accounting and taxation requirements. Support monthly and annual closing of accounts. Maintain proper accounting records, documents and supporting information.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping. Good knowledge of GST and TDS. Experience with GST return filing and GSTR-2B reconciliation. Strong knowledge of bank and ledger reconciliation.
Good understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Experience in handling contractor bills and project-related expenses. Good knowledge of MS Excel. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and coordination skills. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Candidates with experience in Real Estate, Construction, Infrastructure or related industries will be preferred. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
