Job Profile & Key Responsibilities
The Maintenance Engineer will have full authority over preventive maintenance, utility operations, and emergency breakdown support across the plant.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a floor team of Fitters, Welders, and Helpers for routine and emergency breakdown maintenance.
- Equipment Maintenance: Hands-on experience maintaining Glass Lined Reactors, Rotary Vacuum Driers, Agitated Vessels, Filter Presses, Spin Flash Driers, and steam jet injectors.
- Utility Management: Oversee and optimize operations for critical utilities including Boilers, Cooling Towers, Chillers, Compressors, Electrical Panels, and Thermic Fluid Heaters.
- Water & Effluent Systems: Responsible for the smooth running of the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Treatment Plant, and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP).
- TPM Implementation: Device and execute a robust Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) program in close coordination with the Production Manager to maximize plant utilization.
- Documentation: Maintain and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manuals for all utility equipment.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Industry Experience: 8 to 10 years of similar capacity experience within the Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Sugar industries.
- Technical Edge: Knowledge of electrical systems and panels is highly advantageous.
- Soft Skills: Self-disciplined, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision while fostering solid internal relationships
