SUKI is a contemporary fashion brand focused on delivering premium-quality apparel with exceptional craftsmanship, fit, and finish. We are looking for an experienced Cutting Master who can accurately interpret designs, optimize fabric utilization, and ensure precision in garment cutting.
Key Responsibilities
- Study design specifications, measurements, and tech packs before cutting.
- Prepare fabric layouts and marker plans to minimize wastage.
- Cut fabrics accurately according to patterns and measurements.
- Ensure consistency in sizing and garment quality.
- Identify fabric defects before cutting.
- Coordinate with tailoring and production teams for smooth workflow.
- Maintain quality standards throughout the cutting process.
- Handle multiple styles and production batches efficiently.
- Ensure proper labeling and bundling of cut panels.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Cutting Master in women's ethnic or western wear.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and pattern interpretation.
- Experience handling cotton, rayon, linen, georgette, chiffon, and similar fabrics.
- Ability to achieve precise cutting with minimal fabric wastage.
- Good understanding of garment measurements and fitting.
- Ability to work independently and meet production timelines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with boutique or fashion brands.
- Knowledge of marker planning and fabric optimization.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong coordination with tailoring teams.
Working Model
- Part-time / Flexible hours
- Paid on a daily, hourly, or per-piece basis (as mutually agreed)
- Workdays based on production requirements
Pay: ₹200.00 - ₹300.00 per hour
