Job Summary
Ashok Mineral Enterprises is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer to identify, qualify, audit, and develop mineral suppliers across India. The role requires extensive travel to mines, mineral processing facilities, and manufacturing sites to evaluate supplier capability, quality systems, production processes, and commercial suitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new sources for industrial minerals
- Conduct supplier audits and capability assessments
- Visit mines and processing facilities across India
- Evaluate quality control systems and manufacturing processes
- Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain scorecards
- Support commercial negotiations through technical assessments
- Build a reliable and diversified supplier network
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Guindy, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
