- Design and develop new automation products, machines, and systems as per project requirements.
- Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, assembly drawings, and manufacturing drawings using CAD software.
- Conduct research and development activities for new technologies, products, and process improvements.
- Develop prototypes and participate in product testing, validation, and performance evaluation.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Service, and Quality departments for smooth project execution.
- Analyze product failures and implement design improvements.
- Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities when required.
- Ensure designs comply with technical specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements.
- Maintain design records, revision history, and engineering documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce costs.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks CAD software.
Educational Qualification:
- Knowledge of machine design, automation systems, manufacturing processes, and engineering calculations.
- Understanding of materials, fabrication, machining, and assembly processes.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of electrical and automation systems will be an added advantage.
Educational Qualification:
- BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering.
Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in Design Engineering, R&D, Machine Design, or Automation Industry.
