Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain Fire Alarm Systems.
- Install and connect smoke detectors, heat detectors, MCPs, hooters, modules, and control panels.
- Perform testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs at customer sites.
- Read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and layout plans.
- Prepare service reports and update work completion records.
- Coordinate with the Project Engineer and client during installation and service activities.
- Follow all electrical and safety standards while working on-site.
Required Skills
- Experience in Fire Alarm Systems installation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of Honeywell, Edwards, GST, Ravel, or similar fire alarm systems.
- Understanding of electrical wiring and panel connections.
- Ability to troubleshoot system faults.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Qualification
- ITI (Electrician/Electronics) or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
