The Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day hotel operations during assigned shifts, ensuring exceptional guest service, smooth interdepartmental coordination, and adherence to hotel standards. The role acts as the primary point of contact for guests and staff in the absence of senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily hotel operations across all departments.
- Ensure high standards of guest service and guest satisfaction at all times.
- Handle guest complaints, feedback, and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Monitor front office operations, including check-ins, check-outs, room allocations, and billing issues.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, and Security departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare daily operational reports and maintain shift handover records.
- Respond to emergencies and resolve operational issues efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Assist in training, coaching, and motivating team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in hotel operations, preferably in Front Office or as a Duty Manager.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in IDS software and Microsoft Office.
Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
