Performing independent quality assurance and inspection on behalf of a client to ensure products and services meet specified standards. Responsibilities include technical inspections (civil, mechanical, electrical), witnessing tests, reviewing technical documentation like drawings and ITPs, and preparing detailed reports with findings and corrective actions. This role often requires a background in engineering, a strong understanding of relevant codes and standards, and the ability to work both independently and with other teams.
Key responsibilities
- Inspection: Conduct pre-production, production, and final inspections of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Testing: Witness and verify tests performed by manufacturers, such as hydrostatic, pressure, or electrical insulation tests, and may require knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
- Documentation: Review technical documents, including project drawings, specifications, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and write detailed inspection reports, daily/weekly progress reports, and issue release notes or acceptance certificates.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure quality by identifying non-conformities, suggesting corrective measures, and verifying that the final product meets all requirements.
- Coordination: Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, subcontractors, and client representatives to address issues and ensure project timelines are met.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
