Position: Assistant Terminal Supervisor
Experience: 1 – 3 Years
Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
We are looking for a proactive and responsible Assistant Terminal Supervisor to support terminal operations and ensure smooth day-to-day activities at our Karwar terminal. The role involves coordinating operations, maintaining records, monitoring dispatch activities, and ensuring operational efficiency, safety compliance, and timely execution of terminal activities.
- Assist in supervising daily terminal operations and dispatch activities
- Coordinate with transporters, drivers, and internal teams for smooth movement of materials
- Monitor loading, unloading, and storage operations at the terminal
- Maintain operational records, stock reports, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
- Support inventory management and stock reconciliation activities
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure smooth functioning of terminal equipment
- Report operational issues and support timely resolution
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, terminal operations, warehousing, or supply chain management
- Basic understanding of terminal and transport operations
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Preference will be given to candidates having prior experience in the bitumen industry
