Job Role
To ensure timely, accurate, and compliant preparation, filing, and reconciliation of GST returns and related records across multiple states, in line with applicable GST laws and regulations.
Job Description
GST Return Filing & Compliance
· Prepare and file GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-2B, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6, and GSTR-7 for multiple states within statutory deadlines.
· Prepare and file GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C in line with annual compliance requirements.
· Ensure compliance with branch accounting provisions under GST laws and regulations.
E-Way Bill & Documentation
· Manage E-way bill generation, tracking, and compliance for inter/intra-state movement of goods.
· Maintain proper documentation and records for GST audit purposes.
Reconciliations & Audit Support
· Prepare reconciliation statements between GST return data and books of accounts.
· Conduct regular GST reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
· Coordinate with internal and external auditors during GST audits, providing required data and explanations.
Process Improvement & Regulatory Updates
· Monitor and interpret changes in GST rules, notifications, and circulars to ensure compliance.
· Suggest and implement improvements in GST processes for efficiency and accuracy.
· Assist in automation and digital record-keeping for GST compliance.
Desired Competencies
Technical Skills & Competencies:
· Hands-on experience with GSTN portal and e-way bill portal.
· Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Data Reconciliation).
· Knowledge of ERP/Tally/SAP or equivalent accounting software.
Behavioral Competencies:
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work under tight deadlines.
· Strong communication and coordination skills.
Education & Experience
Educational Qualification:
· B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification in Finance/Accounts.
Experience:
· 2–4 years of experience in GST compliance, preferably in a manufacturing or multi-state operation environment.
· May require extended working hours during GST return deadlines and audits.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
