Job Title: Production Head – Home Appliances ManufacturingIndustry: Home Appliances / Consumer Electronics / ManufacturingJob Summary:
Responsible for leading end-to-end production operations for home appliances, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, quality excellence, cost optimization, and on-time delivery while driving continuous improvement across the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage overall production operations for home appliance manufacturing
- Develop production plans to achieve output, quality, and delivery targets
- Optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization
- Coordinate with Planning, Procurement, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor production KPIs, OEE, productivity, and manufacturing efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Control production costs, reduce waste, and improve operational performance
- Lead and mentor production managers, engineers, and shop-floor teams
- Prepare production reports, MIS, and performance reviews for senior management
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of production planning and manufacturing operations
- Expertise in assembly line manufacturing and process optimization
- Leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, and Quality Management Systems
- Proficiency in SAP/ERP and Advanced MS Excel
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
Qualification & Experience:
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering
- 12–18 years of experience in manufacturing operations
- Minimum 5 years in a senior production leadership role
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in home appliance or consumer durable manufacturing, especially products such as refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, washing machines, or kitchen appliances
- Candidates with experience in organizations such as Liebherr, Whirlpool, LG, Samsung, Haier, Voltas, Blue Star, Godrej, Panasonic, Dixon, EPACK, or similar manufacturing companies will be preferred
Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
