We are a small IP law firm, and we do not need a traditional IT person. We need someone who understands where technology is going and can help us work smarter, faster, and better every single day.
What you will actually do
This role combines day-to-day IT ownership with strategic AI and technology scouting to help the firm work smarter.
- Keep day-to-day technology running smoothly, including devices, accounts, internet and backups.
- Find useful AI tools, test them in small pilots, and suggest what should be used.
- Maintain a simple technology roadmap focused on useful and cost-effective improvements.
- Create short, easy guides and give quick training to the team.
- Manage subscriptions and licences to avoid waste and stay compliant.
- Handle basic hardware and software issues, and coordinate with vendors when needed.
Who are we looking FOR?
- An organised, self-driven person with 1–3 years of experience in IT, systems support or technology operations.
- Comfortable with cloud apps, Windows/Mac systems and basic networking.
- Good understanding of AI tools or automation platforms used in professional services.
- Able to explain technical ideas in simple language.
