Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Dispatch Manager / Storekeeper to manage inventory, finished goods storage, dispatch operations, documentation, and coordination with production, sales, logistics, and transport teams at our frozen food manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day store and dispatch operations for frozen food products.
- Maintain accurate records of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Handle inward and outward stock entries and ensure proper documentation.
- Plan and coordinate dispatches as per customer orders and delivery schedules.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed, especially for frozen and perishable products.
- Monitor stock levels, batch numbers, expiry dates, and product movement.
- Coordinate with production, sales, purchase, and logistics teams for timely dispatch.
- Prepare dispatch challans, invoices, stock reports, GRN/GDN and other required documents.
- Ensure proper loading, quantity verification, and documentation before vehicle dispatch.
- Maintain proper storage conditions and ensure products remain in the required cold-chain/frozen temperature range.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain computerized inventory records and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports.
- Coordinate with transporters and drivers regarding vehicle availability and dispatch schedules.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety, and hygiene standards within the store and dispatch area.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in store, dispatch, warehouse, or inventory operations.
- Experience in frozen food / food processing / FMCG industry will be preferred.
- Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO, batch tracking, expiry management and cold-chain handling.
- Good knowledge of inventory documentation and stock reconciliation.
- Basic computer knowledge and experience with ERP/inventory management software.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple dispatches.
Education
Graduate / Diploma in any relevant field. Candidates with relevant industry experience will also be considered.
