We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing patients with guidance on the safe and effective use of prescriptions, ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and patient safety.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure the availability of medicines.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals.
- Comply with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy.
- Identify and prevent potential drug interactions and medication errors.
- Manage controlled substances according to legal requirements.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
