Heena Steel LLP is expanding its Secondary Steel and TMT sales vertical across Mumbai, MMR, and Maharashtra. We are looking for experienced steel sales professionals who understand the market for secondary TMT, rebar, HR coils, structural steel, project steel supply, and construction steel materials.
The candidate should have strong relationships with contractors, fabricators, developers, infrastructure vendors, industrial users, project buyers, and steel traders. This is a market-facing sales role for someone who can generate business, close orders, coordinate pricing and dispatch, and ensure timely collections.
Heena Steel LLP is a Mumbai-based steel distribution company with an 83-year legacy in the steel business. We are one of the leading authorized distributors for JSW Neosteel TMT bars and also deal in HR coils, LRPC strands, cut-and-bend rebars, and secondary steel sourced from major steel hubs such as Jalna, Raipur, Nashik, and other key markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business for secondary steel, TMT, rebar, HR, and related steel products.
- Identify and convert customers across contractors, fabricators, developers, infrastructure vendors, industrial users, and project buyers.
- Build a strong monthly sales pipeline with repeat customers.
- Achieve monthly sales volume and gross margin targets.
- Develop new markets across Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Raigad, Palghar, and other Maharashtra regions.
- Build long-term customer relationships based on reliability, pricing, supply, and service.
- Negotiate rates with customers while protecting company margins.
- Coordinate internally for pricing approvals, stock availability, dispatch planning, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure every deal meets minimum margin and payment-risk guidelines.
- Take responsibility for payment follow-up from customers handled by you.
- Ensure payments are collected within approved credit terms.
- Track daily market rates for secondary TMT, rebar, HR, and related steel products.
- Monitor competitor pricing, stock movement, demand trends, and customer buying patterns.
- Maintain daily sales activity reports and weekly pipeline reports.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have experience in one or more of the following:
- Steel trading
- Secondary steel sales
- TMT bar sales
- Rebar sales
- HR coil / sheet sales
- Structural steel sales
- Construction material sales
- Project sales
- Building material distribution
Required Experience
- 3–10 years of experience in steel sales or construction material sales.
- Experience in secondary steel, TMT, HR coils, rebar, or structural steel will be strongly preferred.
- Existing relationships with contractors, fabricators, developers, infrastructure vendors, industrial users, or project buyers will be a major advantage.
- Candidate should understand steel market pricing, dispatch coordination, credit cycles, and payment follow-up.

- Strong steel market knowledge.

- Understanding of rates, margins, transport, loading, dispatch, and payment terms.
- Strong follow-up discipline.
- Ability to handle customers over phone, WhatsApp, and in-person meetings.
- Basic reporting discipline.
- High ownership of sales and collections.
Performance Expectations
The selected candidate will be expected to build an active customer pipeline, convert trial orders into repeat customers, generate measurable monthly sales volume, and maintain payment discipline.
Performance will be measured on monthly sales volume, gross margin per tonne, number of active customers, repeat business, collection discipline, quality of customers added, market intelligence, and reporting discipline.
Compensation
Compensation will include fixed salary based on experience plus performance incentives linked to profitable and collected sales.
Final compensation will depend on the candidate’s experience, customer relationships, product knowledge, and ability to generate profitable business.
Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
