- Collect, receive, process, and prepare patient specimens for molecular testing.
- Perform molecular diagnostic techniques such as PCR, RT-PCR, DNA/RNA extraction, and sequencing.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Analyze and interpret test results according to laboratory protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of test procedures and results.
- Follow laboratory quality assurance and quality control procedures.
- Adhere to biosafety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment and testing procedures.
- Collaborate with pathologists, microbiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of patient information.
