The Import Administrator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring import shipments, maintaining documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and supporting smooth import operations. The role requires close coordination with customers, shipping lines, customs brokers, transporters, and internal departments.

- Handle and maintain import shipment records and documentation.
- Coordinate with overseas agents, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customers regarding shipment status.
- Monitor arrival notices and shipment schedules.
- Prepare and verify import documents such as:
- Bill of Lading (BL)
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Delivery Order (DO)
- Arrival Notice
- Bill of Entry-related documents
- Ensure timely submission of documents to customs brokers and relevant authorities.
- Follow up on customs clearance and delivery status.
- Update shipment details in the company system/software.
- Coordinate with transporters for cargo delivery arrangements.
- Maintain records of import files and ensure proper filing.
- Prepare reports related to shipment status, pending clearances, and operational activities.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide shipment updates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and import regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Logistics, Shipping, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in import operations, shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
