BOT VFX, a visual effects services company with global clients, is looking for a Freelance Roto Artist as a full-time Freelancing role. The position is based out of Chennai.

Executing high-quality rotoscopy using Silhouette and Nuke for international VFX projects.

Delivering detailed roto work involving complex motion-blur, defocus, hair, and fur.

Utilizing 2D and 3D tracking knowledge to optimize roto shapes and ensure stable results.

Applying advanced techniques such as edge-paint, keying, and working within VR or native stereo pipelines.

Planning tasks efficiently and using innovative approaches to meet challenging production deadlines.

Performing rigorous self-quality checks to ensure all deliverables meet top-notch industry standards.

Coordinating with leads and production teams to understand notes and provide regular status updates.

Proven experience working on VFX rotoscopy for international feature film or episodic projects.

High proficiency in Silhouette and Nuke; knowledge of digital prep/paint is an added advantage.

Strong understanding of camera motion, manual tracking, and optimized workflow scripts.

Creative problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail and visual accuracy.
