About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This is a target-driven, revenue-owning role. Your earnings are directly linked to the business you write and the price you realize on it.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and establish connections with potential clients to generate business opportunities.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring continuous engagement.
- Consistently meet quarterly sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
- Maintain and update the prospective client database in the CRM regularly and accurately.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and aggressive follow-ups.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitors and market dynamics.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and maximize business opportunities.
- Support collection of payment against invoices raised on your accounts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in international calling / international sales / BDE.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in business development, sales or client acquisition.
- Familiarity with CRM software and lead management tools.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and business development strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven work environment.
- Familiarity with market research and competitor analysis.
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies for business strategy development.
