Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and operational efficiency of hospital infrastructure, utilities, and engineering systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all building services, equipment, and facilities while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the maintenance of hospital infrastructure and engineering systems.
- Oversee electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and utility services to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities across the facility.
- Monitor the performance and maintenance of biomedical utility support systems.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and hospital policies.
- Manage fire safety systems and coordinate periodic inspections and testing.
- Lead and supervise maintenance staff, contractors, and external vendors.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain records, documentation, and reports related to maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with various hospital departments to address facility-related requirements and concerns.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources while maintaining operational efficiency.
Eligibility Criteria
B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in hospital or building maintenance operations
Experience in a managerial or supervisory role preferred
Desired Skills
