Position: Mess In-Charge
Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the mess and ensure smooth functioning of all activities.
- Plan and monitor the preparation and serving of nutritious, hygienic, and quality meals.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, dining area, and food storage areas.
- Manage inventory of food items, groceries, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure timely procurement of food supplies and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages.
- Supervise cooks, helpers, and other mess staff and allocate duties effectively.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and adherence to menu plans.
- Maintain records of attendance, meal consumption, stock usage, and expenses.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company/hostel policies.
- Address complaints and suggestions from students, trainees, or employees and take corrective action promptly.
Reporting To: Centre Manager
Qualification: Graduate preferred with experience in mess, hostel, canteen, or food service management.
Skills Required: Inventory Management, Team Supervision, Record Keeping, Hygiene Management, Communication Skills.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
