Job Summary:
The AV Programmer is responsible for developing, configuring, and testing control systems for Audio-Visual solutions, ensuring seamless integration of AV hardware and software. The role involves working with devices like Crestron, AMX, Extron, Biamp, QSC, and integrating them with conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Cisco.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy AV control system programs
- Configure and troubleshoot DSPs, matrix switchers, video processors, and control interfaces.
- Integrate AV systems with conferencing solutions (Zoom, Teams, Webex, etc.).
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and commissioning teams for project execution.
- Perform on-site testing, debugging, and system commissioning.
- Maintain documentation — source code, configuration files, and project reports.
- Provide technical support and updates during handover and post-installation.
- Ensure programming quality, standardization, and compliance with company guidelines.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 0–3 years of experience as an AV programmer or similar role.
- Knowledge of networking and AV signal flow (HDMI, TCP/IP, RS232, etc.).
- Strong logical, analytical, C# / C++ / Python, JavaScript / HTML / CSS, JSON / XML / REST API and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation ability.
