Total Year Experience: 3–7 years of experience in joinery drafting/interior fit-out projects
Responsibilities Technical Drafting & Detailing
● Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings, furniture drawings, and production drawings.
● Develop sectional details, elevations, fixing details, and assembly drawings.
● Interpret design drawings and convert them into workable production drawings.
● Prepare BOQ-based technical detailing for custom furniture and joinery items. Coordination & Execution
● Coordinate with designers, production teams, site engineers, and project managers.
● Ensure drawings meet project specifications and client requirements.
● Support site teams with technical clarifications and revisions.
● Coordinate with factory teams for smooth production execution. Material & Production Understanding
● Prepare material detailing for woodwork, laminates, veneer, hardware, glass, metal, and upholstery components.
● Understand manufacturing processes and site installation requirements.
● Ensure production feasibility of designs and detailing. Drawing Management
● Maintain drawing revisions and documentation control.
● Ensure timely submission of drawings as per project schedules.
● Update drawings based on site conditions and client comments. Quality & Standards
● Ensure accuracy and precision in all technical drawings.
● Follow company drafting standards and industry practices.
● Minimize production and installation errors through proper detailing. Required Skills
● Strong knowledge of joinery and furniture detailing.
● Proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting software.
● Understanding of interior fit-out drawings and production processes.
● Knowledge of materials, hardware, and furniture construction techniques.
● Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
● Attention to detail and accuracy. Software Knowledge
● AutoCAD (Mandatory)
● SketchUp (Preferred)
● MS Office
● Basic knowledge of 3D software will be an added advantage. Qualifications
● Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
● 3–7 years of experience in joinery drafting/interior fit-out projects.
● Experience in hospitality and high-end commercial projects preferred. Preferred Candidate Profile
