Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator (Civil) to support the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of civil construction projects. The role involves coordinating with site engineers, contractors, consultants, procurement teams, and clients to ensure project activities are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day project activities related to civil construction works.
- Assist the Project Manager in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and milestones.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors for timely execution of work.
- Track material requirements and coordinate with procurement teams for timely delivery.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, MOMs (Minutes of Meetings), RFIs, and correspondence.
- Monitor project budgets, work orders, and billing status.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Conduct site visits and collect progress data from site teams.
- Support project review meetings and prepare status reports for management.
- Follow up on pending actions, approvals, drawings, and material submissions.
- Assist in risk identification and resolution of project-related issues.
- Coordinate with design and engineering teams regarding drawing revisions and technical clarifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in civil construction project coordination.
- Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or building projects.
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, project scheduling, and site execution processes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or Primavera scheduling tools
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with quantity tracking, BOQ management, and project reporting
- Understanding of construction quality and safety standards
