Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager who can drive business growth, identify new opportunities, build strategic relationships, and contribute to revenue generation across GIS, Enterprise Technology, Digital Transformation, and Software Development domains.
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, a professional approach to client engagement, and a proven ability to convert opportunities into long-term business relationships.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and generate new business opportunities across Government, Semi Government, Enterprise, Corporate, and Private sectors.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and industry trends.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Generate leads through networking, industry events, referrals, digital channels, and strategic partnerships.
Client Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, demonstrations, and requirement gathering sessions.
- Understand client business challenges and position suitable technology solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle.
Proposal & Tender Management
- Coordinate with technical teams for solution design and proposal preparation.
- Participate in RFP, RFQ, EOI, Tender, and Bid submissions.
- Review tender opportunities and assess business viability.
- Support commercial negotiations and contract finalization.
Strategic Partnerships
- Develop relationships with technology partners, consultants, system integrators, and industry associations.
- Identify opportunities for joint ventures, consortiums, and strategic collaborations.
- Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
- Manage complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to project closure.
- Prepare sales forecasts and business growth plans.
- Maintain accurate records of opportunities, meetings, and sales activities.
Market Expansion
- Explore new sectors and geographical markets.
- Identify opportunities within GIS, Digital Twin, AI, IoT, Cloud, Smart City, Agriculture, Utilities, Infrastructure, Environment, and Enterprise Technology domains.
Required SkillsMust Have
- Strong business development and sales experience in IT, GIS, Software Development, Digital Transformation, SaaS, Enterprise Solutions, or Consulting services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in preparing commercial proposals and participating in bid processes.
- Ability to engage with senior management, government officials, and enterprise decision-makers.
- Strong understanding of sales pipelines, lead management, and opportunity tracking.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred
- Experience in GIS, Geospatial Technologies, Smart Cities, Digital Twin, Cloud Solutions, AI, Data Analytics, or Enterprise Applications.
- Existing network within Government departments, PSUs, Infrastructure, Utilities, Agriculture, or Enterprise sectors.
- Experience handling Government tenders and procurement processes.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, GIS, Geoinformatics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
MBA in Marketing, Business Development, or Sales will be an added advantage.
