Your Role:
Technology Lifecycle & Systems Leadership:
This role goes beyond infrastructure oversight.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Understand organisational needs across Programme, HR, Finance, Fundraising, Communications and Volunteer functions
- Translate functional requirements into clear technical specifications
- Own the entire software lifecycle — from need assessment to deployment and adoption
- Ensure timely, accountable and high-quality delivery through internal teams and vendors
- Strengthen governance, SOPs and documentation
- Mentor and build the capability of the existing IT team
The GM–IT will act as the bridge between user functions and technology execution, ensuring that systems are not only technically sound, but usable, adopted and aligned with CRY’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
End- to – end software lifecycle ownership
- Lead requirement gathering workshops across functions
- Convert user needs into structured requirement documents
- Oversee solution architecture and vendor coordination
- Ensure rigorous User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Drive implementation, change management and post-deployment review
- Ensure systems are continuously improved based on feedback
systems integration and Organizational Alignment
- Ensure CRM, HRMS, Finance Systems, Website, Volunteer Management and related platforms are integrated and aligned
- Reduce duplication, manual interventions and system inefficiencies
- Create visibility into data flows and dependencies
Delivery governance and accountability
- Establish project tracking frameworks with clear milestones and ownership
- Monitor vendor performance and enforce SLAs
- Ensure documentation, version control and audit readiness
- Institutionalise SOPs across infrastructure and applications
Infrastructure, security and compliance oversight
- Oversee IT infrastructure robustness and scalability
- Strengthen data security, backup and disaster recovery frameworks
- Ensure alignment with DPDP Act and relevant compliance frameworks
Team development and capacity building
- Mentor and strengthen the internal IT team
- Identify capability gaps and create structured improvement plans
- Evaluate whether key roles should be developed internally or supported through external expertise

You:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise IT with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end software lifecycle management — from requirements gathering and business analysis to deployment and user adoption — across SaaS and in-house systems.
- Proven ability to translate functional needs into technical specifications and ensure accountable delivery through internal teams and external vendors.
- Experience managing integrated systems (CRM, HRMS, finance, website, digital platforms) in multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strong governance orientation with exposure to vendor management, documentation, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Leadership maturity, structured problem-solving ability, and alignment with CRY’s mission.
